Parasound CD1

The Parasound CD1 is hands down the best CD player we have ever heard. If you have a large collection of redbook CDs, this is the player for you.

The Parasound CD1 does not use a conventional CD drive, but instead uses a CD-ROM drive. The CD is read multiple times before being committed to the memory buffer.  The result is an error-free reading of the disc and a performance level that outstrips the majority of computer streamed audio.  With the CD1 sound degradation as a result of jitter is virtually eliminated.

The Parasound CD1 sounds very detailed.  It has the ability to distinguish and separate the voices of persons singing harmony.  It has the ability to bring forth vinyl-like decay in drums and cymbals.  It has detail, but not detail in a digital sense, but rather a musical detail.  You will want to keep listening to your CD collection nonstop with the CD1 in your system.  Digital fatigue is completely absent with this player.

The Parasound CD1 will change the way you listen to music. If you have a large collection of CD’s, please give us a call for an audition. You won’t be disappointed!
